The Pickle Stick
The Pickle Stick is a CBD based product that helps relieve muscle and joint pain for pickleball players. Jungl helped launch The Pickle Stick from the ground up, developing their brand, packaging design, tone of voice and website.
The Challenge
The Pickle Stick has an inherently unserious name with relatively serious purposes. We wanted to give the brand a lighthearted voice that was informative and friendly, with a design that said sporty over “this is a pickle.”
The Brand
Creating the logo and packaging design went almost hand in hand when developing the brand. We started designing the stick with pickle textures, but moved away from this as to not confuse customers and moved towards pickleball imagery. The final design encapsulates a clean and sporty product that will reduce pain.
Planet First Mission
Along with the identity, we developed a brand voice that spoke to their mission of becoming a pain relief product for pickle ball that also used zero waste packaging. Through a balance of copywriting, icons, and photography, we were able to tell the product’s story and educate customers about the planet-friendly product that was primarily for pain.

After establishing a bold, friendly, and exciting brand, we were able to launch a vivid website that brought to life The Pickle Stick brand.

“First off, huge props for the excellent packaging.
There’s literally no waste. And the booklet was funny! This product smells like rosemary and peppermint because it’s made with rosemary and peppermint and I love it! You can feel it working immediately. It definitely soothed my muscles . My husband got a hold of it and used almost half of it before I made him stop so that I could continue my test! But he also said that it’s fantastic and he liked it better than some of the over-the-counter things that are out there that don’t smell nearly as good. This product is a winner and I am a convert!”
The Results
As the sport of pickleball grows, we watch from the sidelines as more players use The Pickle Stick to ease their pain. We enjoy a continuing relationship with The Pickle Stick with photoshoots and social content.
